As a young child, I can remember all my toys under the Christmas tree being toy cats and dogs. My passion for animals grew stronger as I got older and I ventured off after I graduated High School to the New York School Of Dog Grooming. At the age of 20, I opened my 1st business in mobile dog grooming. I continued my interest for many years in grooming, boarding and pet store management.
Through the years, I've learned that many pet owners cherish their pets as their children. They are in fact, " their children". People just want to know that their pets are being well loved and safe. Communication is the key factor in the Pet Sitting world. If you can send an owner a picture or share a sweet moment while they are in your care, that brings them peace of mind that they are being pampered.
As the owner of Cozy Noses Pet Sitting- Boarding, I value that communication factor. I educate my sitters as well that this consistent correspondence is what everyone wants while on a vacation, a business trip or simply a long day at work. I love hearing how my team of sitters and I, were able to take a couple, in their senior years, from never traveling (because they were too afraid to place their pets in anyone's care) to enjoying their life! Thanking us a million times over for the trusting, loving and reliable care that allows them now, to feel free now to live life again. It's this kind of feedback that makes my operating this business, truly rewarding!

I've grown up with animals my whole life. They were always important members of our family. I have a passion for all animals. Currently, I am the proud mommy of Apache, "poodle mix" and Trooper, a "Maltese Mix". I am so excited to bring my love and experience to your home, caring for your pets while you're away. Your babies will be pampered for and watched over, just as if they were my own. My experience in the Pet Care industry is not only having a history of my own large array of critters, but also entails caring for my family, friends, clients loved ones and volunteering over the years.

​Growing up we had several cats and a dog as family pets. Once married, we have been the proud parents to six Rottweilers. Zeus is eleven years old.  In an effort to make our daughters love animals I had their nursery wallpapered with actual puppy pictures, made sure to visit a local zoo in each city we visited and as  their troop leader, I had our girl scouts volunteer at many shelters in the valley.  It must have worked because my oldest is going to Michigan State in the fall to become a Zoologist!
With my free time increasing, I have taken up pet sitting with Cozy Noses, and the experience has been great.  I love meeting new animals and appreciate  how pure of heart they truly are. I look forward to caring for your family pets in the future.

Animals have always  been a passion of mine and a huge part of my life. I grew up in the Midwest on a farm surrounded by animals and my mom always called me the animal magnet.  I cared for pets of family and friends starting in my teen years and have volunteered for and fostered several senior dogs.  My current pack includes Mango, my sun conure, two hedge hogs, a senior labradoodle, a senior blind/deaf  dachshund and two mini Australian Shepherds. 
I have a masters degree in psychology and proudly served in the United States Naval Reserves. My husband and I raised 7 children and currently have 9 wonderful grandchildren.
I love being a part of the Cozy Noses team and being able to provide a piece of mind knowing your babies are in good hands.

I have always loved pets since I was a little girl. As an adult My love for pets has grown in my home to include five dogs, a tortoise, bunnies and a chameleon. I’m that person who always has to help a pet in need. Since I’ve been a part of the Cozy Noses Pet Sitting team I can honestly say that this has been my favorite and most rewarding occupation. Everyday I get to bring comfort to these beautiful pets and their human companions.

Hi my name is Mare, I've been working in the pet industry for 20 years.  I'm a trained  Pet Behaviorist, emergency animal medical technician and a groomer.  I'm a fur mom to 6 small dogs. 2 guinea pigs, blue tongue skink and a Tortoise.  When I'm not looking after pets you'll see me on the greens as I'm an amateur lawn bowler.  I look forward to meeting you ​and  the opportunity to care for your pets🐾
